GY6 Self-Filming System

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases of the GY6 self-filming system (“GY6 Kit”) and any related accessories (“Products”) sold through our website.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not purchase from this site.

“we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Got Your Six (ABN 70 450 031 684).
“you” refers to the customer purchasing or using our Products.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded.

2. Product Use

The GY6 Kit is designed to assist hunters and outdoor users with self-filming.

You are responsible for using the Product safely, legally, and in accordance with local laws and hunting regulations.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage, injury, loss of footage, or loss arising from misuse or use outside the Product’s intended purpose.

3. Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice.

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including due to pricing errors, stock availability, or suspected fraud.

If an order is cancelled after payment and before dispatch, a full refund will be issued.

4. Shipping

Shipping timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, location, customs processing, or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you once the Product has been handed to the carrier, to the extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

5. Warranty & Consumer Guarantees

Our Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

In addition to your rights under ACL, we provide a 3-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship when the Product is used under normal conditions and in accordance with its intended purpose.

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper use

  • Unauthorised modification or improper installation

  • Impact or accidental damage

  • Exposure to weather or moisture outside intended use

  • Interference caused by magnets with electronic devices

  • Use of accessories not supplied or approved by Got Your Six

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

If a Product is found to have a defect covered by this manufacturer’s warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the Product.

If the Product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
If the failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the Product.

The benefits provided by this manufacturer’s warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deciding you no longer want the Product

  • Ordering incorrectly

  • Finding the Product cheaper elsewhere

  • Not using the Product after purchase

This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6.2 Faulty, Defective, or Damaged Products

If your Product is faulty, defective, or arrives damaged:

  • Contact us as soon as reasonably possible

  • Include your order number and supporting evidence (photos or video)

  • We may request the Product be returned for inspection

If the issue is confirmed and covered under ACL or the manufacturer’s warranty, we will repair, replace, or refund the Product at no cost to you.

This does not apply to faults caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, or accidental damage.

6.3 Incorrect Items Received

If you receive an incorrect item, notify us within 7 days of delivery.

We will arrange a replacement and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

6.4 Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by law, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Products showing signs of heavy or improper use

  • Products with missing components or accessories

  • Clearance or final-sale items (clearly identified at checkout)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Got Your Six is not liable for:

  • Loss of footage, hunting opportunities, or data

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

  • Damage arising from use of the Product outside its intended purpose

Our liability is limited, at our option, to repair, replacement, or refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your order.
